Mission

The Partnership unites voices to improve the well-being of children through public policy advocacy, communications and the promotion of evidence-based programming.

History

In 2004, two statewide organizations, the You Who Coalition, which maintained a large membership, notable leadership and successful advocacy in the Juvenile Justice Reform movement, and the Louisiana Alliance for Children and Families, part of a nationwide organization that served and advocated for the rights of children, merged to form the Partnership.

With the Partnership formation in 2004, it has led key initiatives focused on improving child well-being including the Child Care Quality Rating System, School Readiness Tax Credits, Louisiana Parenting Education Network, Triple P Positive Parenting Program statewide implementation, the Louisiana Alliance for Shared Services and the Louisiana Policy Institute.
