All children have a right to be safe and healthy, but risk factors at home and in our community can combine to put our children in peril. The 2016 What Works Conference brings together leading experts with local data to help us better protect the children of northeast Louisiana. Topics range from Human Trafficking and Internet Abuse of Children to Infant Safety and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE). The conference is for anyone who works with or cares for children ages 0-18; CEUs for educators, nurses, social workers and counselors are available. Parents and community members are always welcome.
